StudioPress, the most popular premium theme company updated the Genesis Framework to version 1.9. The Genesis is one of the best and robust theme frameworks for WordPress. I have recently started using it here on WordPress Kube and really liked how easy the framework is.
The framework comes with a new front end design. The new design is completely rewritten, with an emphasis on flexibility for mobile responsive design.
Mark Jaquith, a WordPress core developer, performed a security audit on Genesis 1.9, and here’s what he had to say:
“It’s clear StudioPress made security a priority when developing Genesis and from a security standpoint, Genesis 1.9 is at the top of its class.”
Not just the security, the new version has a robust design. With just $59.95, you get a perfect base theme that you can use to build any kind of website. If I had to recommend one theme, than it would definitely going to be Genesis Theme
.
Here’s the image of the default design:
With the new release, Genesis now also offers support for authorship. This allows Google to associate your content with your Google+ profile. With just few steps, you can set the Google+ authorship. Just edit your profile, find the field where you can enter your Google+ account URL, and save.

Genesis 1.9.1 is also out which includes a security update.
