The popular WordPress theme shop, WP Business Bundle has been put up for sale on Flippa. At the time of this writing the auction is at $6000 and the buy it now price is $32,700. The auction will close in under 3 days.
All of the relevant stats and figures can be found on the Flippa listing. Before launching the Biz bundle theme store, he was selling themes on ThemeForest, under the username digitonik. The theme store is built on using WordPress, WishList Member and Salutation theme.
WP Biz Bundle store was launched in September 2011, since then has bought in $25,603 in gross sales with $23,853 net profit. In the listening Matt shared the reason for selling the site.
I stared this site in September of 2011. I got the initial sales from running a bundle of Business theme on a forum called, The Warrior Forum. I then went from that success and built the site as a full membership based WP Theme and plugin shop. This site started making profit from day one with no outside funding. BOOTSTRAPPED FTW.
I am selling this site as I just have way to many projects and I can’t put in the time that my customers require for this site to grow. I have not been able to post new themes monthly and this site needs someone who is able to do this.
There are currently 4800+members, 13 WordPress Themes and 2 unique plugins. Matt is also maintaining a mailing list of 670 active subscribers. He’s also giving away the domain, wppluginbundle.com as a bonus.
