It is the first complete plugin that allows you to add Schema Markup to your reviews. The review plugin is a great solution for affiliate marketers and can be easily integrated into an existing site.

Configuring the Plugin

Once you purchase the plugin, you will get the wp-reviews plugin in a zip file. After you get the zip file, go to WordPress Admin > Plugins > Add New > Upload and install the plugin. After completing the installation add the API key, which you can get from your Authorhreview account.

Upon the activation of the plugin, you will see a new navigation bar titled “Reviews” in your admin area.

After you are done with setting up the plugin, you will be brought to the Reviews main settings page where you will find a ton of different options. You can choose whether you want to display the rating box on homepage or not, change the position of rating box to below posts, choose the currency you would like to use or add a url for paid reviews.

The next section is where you will get the option to enable user review and rating functionality, by default it doesn’t allow users to leave reviews.

Setting up the Review Details

The plugin will add a new meta box underneath the main post, where you will fill the review information. The process is pretty straight forward and will take less than a few minutes. Here’s an example of the Elegant Themes review, I did using this plugin.

The other tabs allows you to fill the information such as Pros & Cons of the product you are reviewing, Criteria, Version, link, button text, display settings and author name.

Summary

In a nutshell, this is hands down the best rich snippet rating plugin available in the market today. There’s no plugin that even come close to WP Reviews.

There is also a free version available of this plugin, which comes with very limited options.
