Michiel teases a new theme tool called ThemeDemo.co

ThemeDemo.co, the soon to be launched site, offers the opportunity to create your own theme demo (both frond-end and back-end) for potential buyers.

Most of the theme shops already has the front-end demo, but Themedemo wants to experience users the back-end & how things work after setting up the theme.

So, instead of just allowing users to see the front-end, the potential customer would be able to experience the theme from admin and see if it is a good fit. The demo would run for a maximum number of hours and within the time frame the user can try out the theme.CONTINUE READING »

Weekly Roundup: WordPress User Interface and Gravity Forms

It’s been another crazy week with so much going in WordPress community. In the last few days, a lot of great things have happened and we’re back with some exciting posts, tutorials, and resources for WordPress users.

The past week has been abuzz with the GPL debate and a fairly popular theme shop – Obox ended up being removed from the WordPress.com because they also sell on ThemeForest (which is against GPL).

Collin’s, the head of Envato is even planning to offer publishers the option to choose a full GPL license.

The popular WordPress theme shop, WP Business Bundle has been put up for sale on Flippa. At the time of this writing the auction is at $6000 and the buy it now price is $32,700. The auction will close in under 3 days.

Nick Roach unveils big Elegant Themes redesign
